Snow Cones

GG & Bapa bought the kids a snow cone maker and let me tell you what a huge hit it has been for all of us! Well all of us but Will that is!

Traditional Bathtub Picture

When Ben was about 14 months old I took one of my most favorite pictures of him...
That picture hung in the kids bathroom until we moved. I have been waiting for the babies to get older so I could take the same picture and hang all 3 pictures up in the kids new bathroom! Ben was my assistant and did an excellent job getting the babies to smile!

Happy Birthday America!

We started celebrating the 4th on the 3rd by going and checking out the Flags For Freedom display and then going to buy some fireworks! Ben was so excited about his smoke bombs, snakes, pops and sparklers! He just couldn't stand it and so we had to "practice" that night! Ben had an absolute blast!

The actual day of the 4th we pretty much laid low. Normally we go to Village Fest in the morning but everyone slept in so we just kinda said oh well there's always next year! Ben & Vince went to the pool while the babies napped.
Then we headed to Vince's mom's house for a nice small bbq. Ben insisted on making a "Happy Birthday America" cake so we made a red, white & blue cake and took it with us! Before dinner we stole Papa Jimmy's Jeep and took Ben for a ride-he now tells us daily we need to buy a Jeep! And I kinda agree with him! Papa Jimmy lit some super smoke bombs for Ben which he thought was so super cool compared to our wimpy smoke bombs!
We then headed home to put the babies to bed and wait for it to get dark enough for sparklers!

15 Month Check-Up

June marked the babies being 15 months old (I'm bot sure how the heck that happened so damn fast). So off the see Dr S we went for a check up and the dreaded shots. Both babies are doing great! Both are right on track and there aren't any concerns! Abby still hasn't broken into the 20lb club yet but that's no cause for concern. Will is still 4lbs bigger but again he's just a bit above average. The babies did what they love pulling at the table paper until it was time for shots. Shots just suck. No other word seems right to describe them. But after a dose of motrin and some soy milk they seemed to be right back to normal!

Fathers Day 2015

Fathers Day kicked off with celebrating Vince! Ben had worked hard on a special birdhouse fro Vince and he was so proud to show him! We then headed to my parents for brunch to celebrate my dad! It was great to celebrate my dad and see my family!  Vince's dad came over for dinner with Marq & Megan. It was a great day celebrating 3 of the best dads I know! The kids and I are so lucky to have each one of them!

Sprinkler Fun

Vince turned on the sprinkler for the kids-it was the first time the babies had ever played in it. Will was all about it! Abby not so much! Ben & Will could have stayed outside for days playing in it! I see a lot more sprinkler time in our future!
