Babies:: 18 Months

Abby & Will are 18 months old! Still not sure how it happened so fast. Abby had her 18 month cardio appointment last Tuesday. This appointment was the worst we've had so far. Abby started crying when the nurse weighed her and didn't stop until we left the building. She cried so hard during her echo cardiogram that I had to hold her to try to calm her down. That would work for a 30-60 seconds and t hen she'd start screaming again. So needless to say they didn't get a good reading at all. But Dr B did say he didn't think anything had gotten worse. But we won't know for sure until we go back in 6 months and do an echo cardiogram with her sedated. He did say that if her pressure numbers hadn't gone down then we would be talking about do the surgery shortly after she turns 2.

The following day the babies had their 18 month check up with Dr S. Neither were thrilled to be there. But they did ok and got clean bills of health! Well Will has a little eczema on his feet but other than that they are all healthy and right on track! Abby has finally hit 20 lbs! And Will is still a solid 4 pounds ahead of her! That being said Will is in the 50% for weight & length and Abby is in the 25% for both.
