There is a very special photographer by the name of Jessica Strom who donates her time to take pictures of babies who are born before 34 weeks in the NICU. We had first heard of her when the KC Star ran a piece about her a few months back and then when Abby & Will were born a friend reminded us of her amazing service. Vince emailed her and she said she would absolutley come and do a little photo shoot of us & the babies. I thought I would never forget the sounds, all the cords, the smells but as the days are flying by the details are fading too. It is such a treaured gift that Jessica gives to families in the NICU. Capturing what life was like for Abby & Will their first few weeks. The babies were 9 days new when Jessica took these pictures. Here are a few of my personal favorites...
