Pumpkin Patch

Last Saturday we headed out to the pumpkin patch! This was Ben's first time picking pumpkins so we made it a family affair with my parents, Patrick & Leah, Matty and our friend Brian who was in town from NYC. It felt a little weird picking pumpkins when it was in the high 80's but I would have preferred that over the normal cool and/or rainy fall weekends in KC. We took the hay ride out to the patch and Ben had a blast! We had to leave the stroller behind but Ben soon found his new mode of transportation-the wheelbarrow! We all found some great pumpkins!  Pumpkin picking wore Ben out but Uncle Matt was right there to lend him a shoulder to snooze on our way out of the patch! It was a great day with great people and a great new tradition
