It's Happy Mothers Day

Ben thinks that Mothers Day is called Happy Mothers Day-so cute! We started the weekend off on the Plaza walking around and having a McCormack family lunch at Houstons. Their chickens fingers aren't on the menu but they are the best ever. 4 out of the 5 McCormacks and even Ben ordered them! Yum. Yum. Yum.

Sunday morning I woke up to a special Happy Mothers Day breakfast! And some fabulous handmade gifts from the kids (still so weird that I have 3 kids). All Ben kept asking all day was to bake me a cake. So that is what we did. Ben did all the work! He even picked out the sprinkles and sprinkled the cake himself! He obviously had not intended his red sprinkles to end up looking like a heart but they did!

We had Vince's mom over for dinner! It was a nice quiet (well as quiet as our house is these days) evening! Vince cooked a yummy cajun pasta and we of course had Ben's cake for dessert!
