Marco 2014
We obviously didn't make it to Marco this past spring since the babies were due late April and I wasn't allowed to travel after January. I was so sad. It is one of my favorite family traditions. Marco is such a special place for us-I mean we even gave Will the middle name of main street in Marco (Collier)! Vince decided in July that we needed a quick escape. It had been a crazy year and a rough year on me especially so he decided we need some Marco time. I was certainly not going to object! But first we needed to find out who would be gracious enough to watch our kiddos. Thankfully my parents said they would take Ben & Vince's mom & Jimmy said they'd take the babies! Yay! So Vince booked the flights and our room at the Marriott! We told Ben the day before we left that "Mommy had to go on a work trip with Daddy to help"-had we told him we were going to Marco without him he would have freaked out. He loves Marco and asks to go almost weekly! I let him back his own suitcase for GG & BaPa's house. It was so funny to see what he pack...snacks (like GG hadn't already stocked the pantry with all his fav's and random toys! We left on a Thursday morning and came back that Sunday late afternoon. We were in Marco just after lunch and we ate, drank and lounged at the pool. Perfect start to our vaca! The next 2 days were spent doing nothing but laying on the beach, drinking cocktails and eating great seafood! It was perfect! We got to hit some of our favorite spots and try out the new steakhouse twice! As usual our time in Marco went by so fast and it was back to reality. We came back totally recharged and it felt great!

Babies:: 25 Weeks

Ben's 1st Day of Preschool
September 2nd was Ben's 1st day of preschool! How in the world do I have an official preschooler??? He is still going to Rolling Hills and is still going Tuesday/Thursdays. We had gone the last week of August up to school to meet his teachers and get all our preschool info. His teachers are Mrs Peavey & Mrs Lozier and his best buddy Charlie is in his class! Yay! He has a few of his other buddies in is class too! He was so excited to meet his teachers and check out his new classroom! So when it came to it actually being the 1st day of school he was so very excited! We had gone and picked out new school shoes and he was so excited to wear them! GG came over to watch the babies so Vince & I could take him to school. He walked right in grabbed his name tag and hung up his backpack and started checking out all the new toys in his classroom! No tears. No when will you be back. Just a quick hug & kiss and he was off! I picked him up at 3pm and he told me all about how great his first day was! Yay! We celebrated with a fun family dinner out & of course ice cream with lots of sprinkles!
