Donuts Donuts Donuts!

This year we decided a birthday party at the zoo sounded like a great idea for Abby & Will! Only problem was we were only allowed to have 24 guests which included the 5 of us. Eeeek! So we decided to have a little family party at home the day before their birthday and invite friends to the zoo. I thought a donut party would be such fun! Donuts on your birthday is a tradition at our house that we started with Ben! When party day rolled around we had a bit of a donut emergency-the donut bakers had not listened to the orders on their machine. Therefore our order was not made or ready and they were almost out of all donuts. Luckily GG & BaPa came to the rescue and drove around to various Lamar's Donuts locations to get enough for the party. Good news is that we got almost all the donuts for free-but still bummed we didn't get what I ordered. We had a little coffee bar for the adults & lemonade for the kids! And just some fruit & muffins for variety! It was hands down the easiest party I've thrown! All the kids wore their jammies since it was after all a donut party in the morning! The babies  littles had a great time! They weren't quite sure about us singing Happy Birthday but loved their donuts! They were really into opening presents this year! They were so excited!
