The Mummy, The Witch & The Bat

Halloween morning started off with pumpkin carving! This was Abby & Will's first time carving pumpkins! They were so curious as to what was going on! And they really loved playing in the pumpkin goop! Ben was beyond excited to design his "Frankenstein" pumpkin!

After we got the carving mess cleaned up we washed all the pumpkin seeds and roasted them! Ben absolutely loves roasted pumpkin seeds! They only lasted a few days before they were all gone! 

After nap & snack it was time to get costumes on! (trick or treating started early this year so everyone could be home by 7pm to cheer on our boys in blue) This year we stuck with a traditional  classic Halloween theme-a mummy, a witch and a bat! Ben started out wanting to be a bat but then changed his mind after he saw the mummy costume. But he insisted that Will still be a "baby bat"! 

We went trick or treating with some of our neighbors and had a great time! The babies loved trying candy! After about an hour and a half Ben was done and ready to go home-perfect timing for the game!
